PELLE DESIGN

PELLE is an independent design studio that combines the practices of art and engineering to create expressive design objects. Integrating artistic exploration with architectural integrity, PELLE offers an original collection of hand produced, professionally refined pieces.

Co-founded by Jean and Oliver Pelle in 2011, PELLE’s studio is located in Brooklyn New York. With collections ranging from lighting and furniture to soaps and home objects, PELLE is continually entering into new areas of design and materials.

PELLE’s collections are carried by design boutiques, museum shops, and department stores around the world. Their work has been widely recognized in national and international design publications. Most recently, they were named ‘Best Young Americans’ by Wallpaper* Magazine in their Annual Design Awards 2016 Issue.

SOAP STONES: The Soap Stones are handcrafted glycerine soap intended for both use and display. Consisting of all natural, vegetable-based soap ingredients, the Soap Stones are made and hand cut in our Brooklyn studio.

Drawing from a material palette inspired by naturally occurring gemstones such as Rose Quartz and Aquamarine and metamorphic rock such as Jade and Onyx, our soaps combine these brilliant colors with the potent effects of essential oils such as Eucalyptus and Camphor. The full collection of Soap Stones range between 3 sizes and 7 color/scent combinations.
